Obituary of Dorothy E. Henry

Princeville – Dorothy E. Henry, 80, of Princeville, died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008, at her residence.

Dorothy was born February 25, 1928, in Edelstein, the daughter of Robert and Isla Morrow McNeeley.  She married Ernest “Bud” Henry on August 21, 1945, in Princeville.  He died June 23, 2001, in Stark.

Surviving are two sons, Robert (and Kathy) Henry of Princeville, and William (and Kathy) Henry of Wyoming; two daughters, Janice (and Kurt) Young of Commerce City, CO, and Candace Henry of Princeville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph (and Theda) McNeeley of Chillicothe, and Dale (and Lee) McNeeley of San Bruno, CA; one sister, Shirley (and Scott) Gibson of Peoria; and a sister-in-law, Joan McNeely of Princeville.  Her parents, two brothers, Fred and Donald, one sister, Virginia Armentrout, and one great-grandson, David William Enoch preceded her in death.

Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.  Revs. Fred Reiner and Rex Hendrix will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to memorial service.  Burial of ashes will be in Wyoming Cemetery, following the memorial service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service or Harbor Light Hospice.
