Obituary of Helen E. McCracken

Kickapoo – Helen E. McCracken, 71, of Kickapoo, died at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Rose Garden Care Center, Peoria Heights.

Helen was born February 13, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Dwight James and Goldie Helen Price McCracken.

Surviving are four cousins, Dan Bowers of Princeville, IL, Orin H. McCracken of Sorento, IL, Bill McCracken of Greenville, IL, and Delores Sharp of Girard, IL.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Helen was a dispatcher for the Illinois State Police District 8. 

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Bethel Cemetery, Reno, IL.  There will be no visitation.

Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, is in charge of arrangements.
