Obituary of Albert Eugene "Gene" Miller

Princeville – Albert Eugene “Gene” Miller, 78, of Princeville, died at 8:44 pm Friday, February 8, 2008, at OSF St Francis Medical Center, where he was admitted January 28th.

Gene was born on July 30, 1929, in Wyoming, the son of Albert and Beulah McClure Miller.  He married Donna Mae Miller on September 25, 1953. 

Surviving is one son, Rick Miller of Princeville; five grandchildren, Lauren & Alexis Miller, and Cole, Clint, & Andrew Miller; a sister, Phyllis Carroll of Princeville; and a brother, Bob Miller of Palm Springs, CA.  He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Miller in 2004.

Gene owned and operated Miller Plumbing for many years in Princeville and was preparing to go to work when he was stricken and taken to the hospital on January 28th.

He was a Korean War veteran serving in the US Army.  He was a member of Princeville Lodge #360, AF&AM.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, February 15, 2008, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home.  Rev. Rex Hendrix and Rev. Connie Williams will officiate.  Visitation will be from Noon until the time of service.  Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.
