Obituary of Elsie M. Mueller

Speer – Elsie M. Mueller, 87, of rural Speer, died at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Apostolic Christian Skylines, Peoria.

Elsie was born September 9, 1920, in Stark County, Illinois, the daughter of Carl H. and Rose Riekert Mueller.

Surviving is one brother, Roy F. Mueller of rural Speer; five nieces; and five nephews.  Her parents, three sisters, Marie, Helen, and Lorraine, and five brothers, Carl, Harry, Howard, Christian, and Albert preceded her in death.

Elsie loved to quilt and she was a wonderful gardener.  She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church Quilters.

Elsie was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville, where funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2008.  Church Ministers will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, and from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. on Friday at the church.  Burial will be in Streitmatter Cemetery, rural Princeville.
