Obituary of Arthur Pfister Peoria—Arthur Pfister, 91, of 7023 NE Skyline Drive, died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Apostolic Christian Skylines. Arthur was born December 10, 1916, in Eureka, Illinois, the son of John and Lydia Rinkenberger Pfister. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Surviving are 16 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Arthur worked as a painter for a few years and then had an independent meat retail business. After retiring he enjoyed gardening, growing and sharing his homegrown tomatoes. He was a member of Sheridan Road Apostolic Christian Church, 3420 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria, where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. prior to funeral services at the church. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, Route 150, Edwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Skylines Charity Endowment Fund, 7023 NE Skyline Drive, Peoria, IL 61614.
