Obituary of Janet M. Richoz

Princeville – Janet M. Richoz, 68, a resident of Bella Vista Care Center, Peoria Heights, formerly of Princeville, died at 4:15 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

Janet was born January 2, 1940, in Princeville,  the daughter of Charles Frederick and Mabel Kinnah Richoz.

Surviving are her step-mother, Ellen Richoz of East Peoria; step-sister, Nancy Hall of Peoria; step-brother, Ben (and Jackie) Taylor of Chillicothe; two sister-in-laws, Judy Richoz of Denver, CO, and Mary Lou Doubet of Detroit, MI; and seven nieces and one nephew.  Her father, mother, and two brothers, Charles “Chuck” Richoz, Jr. and Duane Richoz preceded her in death.

Janet worked as a custodian for the Princeville Medical Center and Christ’s Bakery.  She worked as seasonal help at the Princeville Canning Company for several years. Janet loved her church and her cats.

Janet was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2008.  Rev. Harry Losey will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.  Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service.
