Obituary of Leah Stahl Princeville – Leah Stahl, 98, a resident of the Apostolic Christian Skylines, Peoria, since 1998, formerly of Princeville, died at 6:18 am Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Apostolic Christian Skylines. Leah was born June 8, 1910, in Akron Township, Peoria County, the daughter of William and Karolina Herrmann Stahl. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and three sisters. Leah did domestic work for Peoria area families for many years. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church were funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 pm Monday, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home and from 9 to 9:45 am Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron-Princeville Ambulance Service, Akron-Princeville Fire Department, or to any charity of the donor’s choice.
