Obituary of Violet L. Woertz

Princeville – Violet L. Woertz, 89, of Princeville, died at 9:22 a.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Apostolic Christian Skylines, Inc. in Peoria, where she was a resident for the past 5 years.

Violet was born November 6, 1918, in Princeville, the daughter of Edward M. and Lucy Streitmatter Woertz.

Surviving is one sister, Dolores (and Art) Frisby of Princeville.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Violet worked at Home Comfort Products in Princeville, retiring July 31, 1981.  She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.  Ministers of the Church will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, Princeville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service.
