Obituary of Mario A. Galindo

Princeville – Mario A. Galindo, 73, of Princeville, died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at Toulon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

Mario was born September 10, 1935, in Ciudad Acunia, (Coahuila), Mexico, the son of Jesus A. & Nestora Rodriguez Galindo.  He married Dolores M. Daum on July 18, 1959, in Princeville.  She survives, along with two sons, Raul (and Sue) Galindo, and Geno Galindo both of Princeville; four daughters, Carmen (and Robert) Rojas of Harlingen, TX, Deanna (and Ron) Musselman of Toulon, Corrina (and Jeff) Smith, and Roxana (and Todd) Crose, both of Princeville; ten grandchildren; and three sisters & two brothers all of Texas.

He was the camp manager for the Princeville Canning Company, retiring after more than 40 years of service.

Mario was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home.  Pastors Joe & David Hamilton will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.
