Obituary of Arlene June Knapp Princeville – Arlene June Knapp, 80, a resident of Apostolic Christian Skylines, Peoria, formerly of Princeville & Cissna Park, died at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. She was born June 3, 1929, at Cissna Park, the daughter of Clarence & Naomi Young Knapp. Surviving are four sisters, Margarite Beckman of Blue Jay, CA, Sylvia Knapp, Lucille Knapp, & Marilyn Knapp, all of Cissna Park; and three brothers, Norman Knapp of Tucson, AZ, Wesley Knapp & Aaron Knapp, both of Cissna Park. She worked for Alcoa Manufacturing in Princeville before retiring in 1996. Arlene was a member of the Princeville Apostolic Christian Church, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, and also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at the Cissna Park Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Skylines, Inc.
