Obituary of Charlene J. Ault

Princeville – Charlene J. Ault, 74, of Princeville, died at 4:07 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

Charlene was born April 10, 1936, in Princeville, the daughter of Elmer and Mildred E. Garrett Chapin.  She married Oliver “Ducky” Ault, Jr. on June 21, 1959, in Edelstein.  He died January 15, 1991.

Surviving is one daughter, Monica Koehler Peoria; two granddaughters, Olivia (John) Ryan of Oswego, and Kristen (CJ) Bishop of Princeville; three great-grandchildren, Kaden & Kaylin Ryan and Lucas Bishop; one sister, Carmelitta “Skip” (Gilbert) Brady of Princeville; and two step-children, Debbie Koch and Randy (Andrea) Ault.  Her parents and one son, Tony, preceded her in death.

Charlene was a member of the Edelstein Congregational United Church of Christ.

Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.  Rev. David Stamerjohn will officiate, with burial of ashes to follow at Princeville Cemetery.
