Obituary of Dale E. Beall

Chillicothe – Dale E. Beall, 83, of Chillicothe, formerly of Princeville, died Sunday February 14, 2010, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. 

Dale was born April 14, 1926, in Brimfield, the son of Howard C. and M. Pearl Miller Beall.  He married Betty J. Savord on September 19, 1945, in Peoria.  She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Tom (and Diana) Beall of Chillicothe, IL; two daughters, Marie (and Rod) Stewart of Rhododendron, OR, and Vicki (and Chuck) Krinke of Westland, MI; 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  His parents and one brother, Franklin Beall preceded him in death.

Dale was a World War II Navy Veteran, serving aboard the U.S.S. Salt Lake City, and was a member of the Princeville American Legion Post #248.  He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, and loved the outdoors.  Dale was also a former member of the Princeville United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Princeville Cemetery.  Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate.  There will be no visitation. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pearce Community Center, Chillicothe or Rescue 33, Chillicothe.
