Obituary of Juanita M. Pridemore Finnegan
Princeville – Juanita M. Pridemore Finnegan, 75, of Washington, formerly of Princeville, and Kingman, AZ, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2010, at her residence.
Juanita was born May 6, 1935, in Millersville, Missouri, the daughter of Milford Dwight, Sr. and Dora Irene Slinkard Austin. She married Raymond Pridemore on January 21, 1956, in Millersville, MO. He died June 28, 1961, in Princeville. She then married Larry Finnegan on May 11, 1984, in Las Vegas, NV. He died November 25, 1994, in Kingman, AZ.
Surviving are five children, Dwayne Pridemore of Princeville, William (Greta) Pridemore of Quincy, Tanya (Randy) Heinle of Germantown Hills, Donnie (Krystal) Pridemore of Port Byron, and Ann Marie (Greg) Smith of Princeville; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Naomi (Jim) Mills of Edwards, and one brother, David (Denise) Austin of Lawn Ridge. Her parents, one infant daughter, and three brothers preceded her in death.
She was a beautician for over 20 years in Chillicothe until 1984 when she moved to Kingman, AZ. She worked as a breakfast hostess at Independence Village until December of 2009. She was a member of Fairview Methodist Church, Millersville, MO.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. George Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 until the time of the funeral services. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Fairview Methodist Cemetery, Millersville, MO.
