Obituary of Wilma L. Huffman Bouton

Princeville – Wilma L. Huffman Bouton, 95, of Chillicothe, formerly of Princeville, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Heritage Health in Chillicothe.
She was born July 3, 1916, in Peoria County, Illinois, the daughter of Walter R. and Laura J. Worsfold Barrett. She married George Huffman on March 27, 1937, in Bloomington. He died January of 1960. She later married Herbert Bouton. He died in 1978.
Surviving are four daughters, Mary (Charles) Mitchell of Williamsfield, IL, Shirley Huffman of Dunlap, IL, Sharon (Ed) McGarvey of Pennsylvania; and Marilyn I. (Daryll) Isaac of Easton, IL; four sons, Richard (Dorothy) Huffman of Chillicothe, IL, Larry (Mary) Huffman and Glenn (Jurretta) Huffman both of Princeville, IL, and Gary (Tammy) Huffman of Peoria, IL; one step-son, William (Inger) Huffman of San Diego, CA; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; three sisters, Martha Begner and Thelma Begner both of Princeville, IL, and Lorretta Millie of Galva, IL; and one brother, Willis Barrett of Princeville, IL. Her parents, two sisters, two brothers, two granddaughters and one step-grandson preceded her in death.
Wilma worked at various businesses in Princeville and sold Avon. She also worked at Lutheran Social Services and St. Francis Hospital both in Peoria. Wilma loved flowers and going shopping. The family would like to thank Hospice and Heritage Health for all the care given to their mother.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Pastor Rex Hendrix will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.
