Obituary of Betty A. Stahl

Dunlap – Betty A. Stahl, 78, of rural Dunlap, died at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Heartland Health Care Center, Peoria.

Betty was born August 18, 1933, in Abingdon, Illinois, the daughter of William and Helen Lewis Gray. She married Lloyd Stahl on August 30, 1952, in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Susan (Steve) Small of Dunlap, IL, Sherrill (Nathan) Stoller of Sheffield, IL, and Christine (Gary) Smith of Dunlap, IL; two sons, Randy (Angie) Stahl of Princeville, IL, and Steven (Nora) Stahl of Dunlap, IL; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Bartonville.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Douglass Handrich will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Dunlap, IL.
